It was reported not too long ago that the powers-that-be are seizing more drugs than ever before because exporters have stepped up the amounts they ship and smuggle. In the latest big time bust, the US Navy has seized 270 kilos heroin in the Arabian Sea. The shipment was found on a small sailboat by the US destroyer known as Laboon, which was guided by Royal Canadian Navy helicopter, according to Sputnik News.

This is the second major drug bust in the area in the past two weeks. According to reports, “Monday’s seizure came less than two weeks after an Australian naval vessel seized 800 kilograms of hashish in the area, Royal Canadian Navy commodore Haydn Edmundson explained.”

Two hundred and seventy kilos of heroin doesn’t seem like much to make a dent in the dope epidemic ravaging cities and towns across the world.
