Marquis Davis Sr., also known as Cisco, is a self-published author. Born and raised in the city of Southeast San Diego in the 1970s, both of his parents passed away early in his life and though they were separated, their passing created a void and a pain so deep that the only thing he knew how to do to mask it was to act out in the streets that raised him. An essential affiliate of the gang he represented during his era, what began as a childhood crush became his first love, life and ways of the lawless. He grew to care about no one if they weren’t from his gang which was essentially his family. After several clashes with the law for violent crimes in the 1980s and 1990s, Marquis Davis Sr. was finally arrested after a High Speed Chase while in a stolen car and apprehended with a loaded firearm where he was tried, convicted and sentenced to 25yrs to Life in prison. For years he had felt a desire to do something other than gang bang, and finally while sitting in the hole for 5 years he wrote his first novel and like writing so much that he wrote 22 more including a 10 novel series titled, The Chronicles of T-Bo, a fictional series that depicts a character who grew up in the life like the author and in many ways is the author. The Chronicles is more than just a captivating series, its a demonstration to the masses that for the author, it is never too late to chase a dream. www.littleghettoboy.com
